What is Goku’s Base Form?

Goku’s base form is his natural-born form without any transformation and powerups. He appeared in his base form throughout the entire Dragon Ball Series, making his first appearance in this form in Dragon Ball Episode 1 ‘’The Secret of the Dragon Balls.’’

He appears in this form in Episode 1 as a young boy living alone in the mountains. At this point, he has not yet learned his true origins as a Saiyan warrior, and he appears to be an ordinary human child with exceptional strength and abilities.

In his base form, Goku is a tall, lean warrior with a ripped body physique. He has spiky black hair, dark-colored eyes, a light-pale skin complexion, and sharp, angular facial features, including his soft smile. His most distinguishing physical characteristic is his spiky black hair which is styled in a way that he has three bangs hanging to the left.

His hair also stands up in the front with four spikes and three bangs in the back (later on, he has five spikes in front and four in the back). Goku is mostly shown wearing a Martial artist gi which he changes from time to time throughout the entire series. While his base form appearance has remained relatively consistent throughout the series, there have been minor changes to his outfit and physical appearance as he grows older and gains more strength and power.

Goku uses his base form in his everyday life, such as when he is working on his farm or spending time with his family and friends. In battles, he often begins with his base form to test his opponent’s strength and abilities before deciding whether to transform or not.

During the Saiyan Saga of the Dragon Ball Z series, when the Saiyans, Vegeta, and Nappa arrive on earth, Goku uses his base form to test Vegeta’s strength before transforming into a Great Ape and later into a Super Saiyan. In his base form, Goku demonstrates his amazing fighting skill using his speed and martial arts techniques which play a crucial role in his success in the Saiyan Saga.

During the Frieza Saga, Goku initially challenges powerful foes like Frieza, Ginyu Force, and Vegeta in his base form. Despite the overwhelming odds, Goku relied on his base form to battle with his opponents, but as the saga progresses, he undergoes a transformation that unlocks new abilities and strengths. In the cell saga, Goku relies on his base form to test Cell’s power, and he eventually transforms into a Super Saiyan 2 after Cell absorbs Android 18 and becomes even stronger.

Goku also uses his base form to conserve energy when he does not need to use his full power. In the tournament of Power arc, Goku heavily relies on his base form to fight against powerful fighters from different universes in an attempt to conserve energy and fight with speed and agility. Later on, in the tournament, Goku achieves the Ultra Instinct Transformation allowing him to hold his own against some of the most powerful fighters.

In the Universe 6 and Future Trunks arc, he fights against the Saiyan Cabba and evil Goku, respectively, demonstrating his speed, agility, and combat skill without transforming. During the ‘’Battle of God’’ arc, Goku fights against the God of Destruction Beerus in his base form before he eventually transforms into a Super Saiyan God.

Similarly, in the ‘’Resurrection F’’ arc, Goku shows off his base form using his martial art skills and his speed to take out Frieza’s army of soldiers before eventually transforming into Super Saiyan Blue.

Besides testing his opponents’ skills and conserving energy, Goku sometimes makes use of his base form when he is unable to transform for various reasons. For instance, During the Saiyan Saga in Dragon Ball Z, Goku was unable to transform because he had not mastered the Super Saiyan transformation and was forced to rely on his base form to fight against his opponents.

While Goku’s transformations have been nothing short of incredible, his base form plays an integral part in his formidable fighting style, and it sets the stage for his later transformations as he learns and acquires new abilities and strength that allow him to hold his own against the strongest opponents.

All Goku Super Saiyan Forms

Goku has undergone several transformations throughout the entire Dragon Ball Series, and these transformations make for some exciting and compelling memories for the viewers. The most iconic of Goku’s transformation is the Super Saiyan Form which evolved into several other powerful forms throughout the series.

1. Goku Super Saiyan Form

Goku’s Super Saiyan form is one of the most iconic and notable forms in the Dragon Ball Series. It is characterized by an impressive increase in speed and strength, as well as the ability to generate and manipulate powerful energy attacks. Goku goes Super Saiyan for the very first time after undergoing intense emotional stress and anger from witnessing his best friend, Krillin’s death at the hands of Frieza.

This form is characterized by a distinct change in his physical and facial appearance. His eyes change to green, his eyebrows disappear, his muscle mass increases significantly, and his skin takes on a slightly reddish tint. The most distinctive change that occurs during this transformation is his hair which changes from black to a bright golden blonde and appears to be standing up on end, giving it a soaring flame-like appearance.

While in this form, Goku’s natural floodgates become open and excess energy radiates from his body in the shape of a flame-like aura which increases in intensity as his power level rises. Goku’s clothing style also changes when he transforms into Super Saiyan form. His traditional orange martial art gi becomes torn with the outfit completely ripped off his body. He is then left wearing only a blue tattered undershirt and brown pants, which also become ripped during intense fights.

In terms of power, it is argued that the Super Saiyan form multiplies the user’s power level by over 20 times its normal level, while others insist that it multiplies it by 100 times. This means that Goku, who has a base power level of several thousand, becomes more powerful after his transformation into Super Saiyan Form, surpassing Frieza in the fight and holding his own against him.

In the Super Saiyan form, Goku gains several unique abilities, such as the ability to generate powerful energy blasts from his hands and body. Similarly, his speed and agility increase considerably in this form, allowing him to move and attack at impressive speeds.

While the Super Saiyan is incredibly powerful, it is not without its limitations. The usage of this form requires a significant amount of energy, and prolonged use can lead to exhaustion or death. This form can also be difficult to control, particularly for inexperienced users or those with poor emotional control. Despite these limitations, Goku’s Super Saiyan Form remains one of the most remarkable forms, with its striking appearance and incredible power level.

2. Goku Super Saiyan 2 Form

Goku Super Saiyan 2 form is the next level of power beyond the original Super Saiyan form, granting the user an even more powerful aura, sparking electricity, and greater strength and speed abilities than the original.

With this transformation comes a noticeable change in Goku’s appearance, especially his hair, which becomes longer, spikier, and more pronounced with a more pronounced golden glow than in his original Super Saiyan form. The hair is also styled to look more unkempt, giving Goku a wild look. The lighting-like sparks of energy surrounding his aura become more prominent, serving as a visual indicator of the increased power and energy in this transformation. The muscle mass is barely increased, but the energy output is multiplied by the regular Super Saiyan transformation.

While the original Super Saiyan form is incredibly powerful, the Super Saiyan 2 is a significant power-up as it multiplies the user’s power level by two times that of the Super Saiyan form resulting in a total power increase of over 40 times the user’s base power level making this form one of the strongest in the Dragon Ball Series.

This form enhances the user’s physical attributes, including their strength, speed, and agility as well as their energy projection and sensing abilities. It also enhances the user’s natural healing abilities and allows them to regenerate from injuries much faster than the base form. According to Future Trunks, this form is superior to the Super Saiyan third grade in that it greatly increases strength without the loss of speed.

Goku achieved his Super Saiyan 2 form during his battle against Cell in the Cell Games. Angered and grieved at the death of his best friend, Gohan, Goku’s power level increased significantly, allowing him to hold his own against Cell, who was previously unstoppable. Since the transformation, Goku has demonstrated the power of this form in several other battles.

For instance, during the Buu Saga against Majin Vegeta, both Goku and Vegeta, who have achieved this form, demonstrated the power and intensity of the Super Saiyan 2 form. In the Tournament of Power, both Goku and Caulifla use Super Saiyan 2 form in their battle.

Goku’s Super Saiyan form is one of the most iconic transformations that played a crucial role in Goku’s battles against powerful opponents as well as the development of the series.

3. Goku Super Saiyan 3 Form

Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 form is a variation of the Original Super Saiyan form. To achieve the Super Saiyan 3 form, the Saiyan must try hard to find the energy within them, then tap into that energy, allowing them to transform.

Goku unveiled his Super Saiyan 3 form briefly during the Majin Buu Saga; he kept this form hidden from Vegeta during their fight but was forced to use it when he realized that Majin Buu was a powerful and dangerous opponent he had to keep from roaming around. During the fight, he was able to overpower his opponents, almost matching him blow for blow. However, in his last fight against Kid Buu, Goku struggled to compete with the Majin’s endless power supply despite using his full power in the Super Saiyan 3 form.

This form, like all the previous forms, transforms and causes some profound changes in the user’s appearance. In this form, Goku’s stiff hair of the Super Siyan 2 form becomes sleek, longer, and wilder extending down to his lower back. The hair color of Super Saiyan 3 is a darker and more yellow shade of bright golden blonde compared to other previous Super Saiyan forms, which had a paler shade of gold.

Goku’s facial features also change considerably as his eyebrows disappear entirely. As his Super Saiyan forms increase, his skin takes on a slightly reddish tint and there is also an increase in muscle mass from Super Saiyan 2 with a pronounced muscle tone that is sharply defined. The user’s voice also tends to become deeper while in this form.

This form multiples the user’s power level by four times the power of a Super Saiyan 2, making it significantly stronger than the regular Super Saiyan form. It draws the hidden power of its user out to its full limit. In this form, Goku’s strength, speed, and durability increase considerably, allowing him to move and attack at incredible speeds.

Super Saiyan 3 form grants Goku the ability to generate powerful energy attacks from his hands and body. These attacks take on different shapes and sizes, from small blasts to massive energy waves that can destroy entire planets.

Despite the incredible power and abilities that come with using this form, there are some setbacks from the prolonged use of this form. This form consumes a lot of Goku’s stamina, and prolonged use can lead to exhaustion and death. The Super Saiyan 3 form puts a significant strain on the user’s body, particularly their hair, which can begin to break and fray over time. This is demonstrated during the final battle against Kid Buu in the Buu Saga, where Goku was able to hold his own against Kidd Buu for some time before he was left drained and eventually overpowered.

4. Goku Super Saiyan God Form

Goku’s Super Saiyan God form is a transformation that initially appeared in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie. This transformation normally requires a ritual to be achieved though that can be dispensed with. Where the ritual is needed, it takes the form of five righteous Saiyans transferring their ki to a recipient who then achieves the Saiyan God form.

Goku transformed into the Super Saiyan God form for the first time in the ‘’Battle of Gods’’ arc, which is the first major story arc in the Dragon Ball Super anime series. In this arc, Goku and his friends organize a ritual involving six pure-hearted Saiyans (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten) to create the Super Saiyan God.

During the ritual, the Saiyans transfer their energy to Goku, who then completes his transformation into the Super Saiyan God form. While in this form, Goku battles against Berrus, who proves unbeatable, leaving Goku completely exhausted and defeated. Subsequently, after his defeat, Goku continues to train hard, eventually unlocking the Super Saiyan God form, which allows him to surpass even Beerus in power.

This transformation causes some stark appearance changes compared to other Super Saiyan forms. The trademark change in this transformation is the hair which changes to a bright red aura and becomes much sleeker and less spiky compared to his previous Super Saiyan forms.

Another notable change is the slight pink skin tone and the eyes, which become more defined with the irises turning a light red color. In this form, Goku’s aura is also different, with a fiery blue glow surrounding him giving him a distinct and powerful appearance.

Super Saiyan God form was “a being that surpasses all’’. This form grants the user immense strength. Goku gets great enough to be able to hold his own against the strongest characters in the Dragon Ball Franchise such as the God of Destruction named Beerus.

The Super Saiyan God form grants Goku the ability to sense godly ki, a type of energy that is unique to divine beings making him capable of sensing and locating powerful gods and other godly beings. In addition to this, the Super Saiyan God form grants the user the power to absorb and nullify incoming attacks.

This ability was showcased in Goku’s battles against Frieza and Jiren, in which he was able to absorb and nullify powerful energy blasts. This form also enhances Goku’s durability, allowing him to withstand attacks that would be fatal to others. This is seen when Goku takes a full power punch from Beerus and can withstand the blow despite the injury.

However, this powerful and incredible form has disadvantages as it requires time for the user to gain a hold of it and also reduces the energy of the user. This form also has a short life span but Goku’s experience provides him with the ability to continue fighting without a decrease in his actual power even after his time limit expires. According to Beerus, Goku was able to unconsciously access his power to some extent because of his adaptation to the feeling of the Super Saiyan God form.

5. Goku Super Saiyan Blue Form

Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue form, also known as Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS), is a transformation that is more powerful than his Super Saiyan God form. This transformation is obtained by training with a deity so as to be able to wield the power of Super Saiyan God in a natural state.

Goku appeared for the first time in the Super Saiyan Blue form during the ‘’Resurrection F saga’’ in the Dragon Ball Super series. In the saga, Goku and Vegeta train with Whis to defeat Frieza, a powerful villain who resurrected and seeks to revenge against Goku. During their training, Goku and Vegeta learn how to access godly ki and harness it in their Super Saiyan forms leading to the creation of the Super Saiyan Blue form. While fighting with Frieza, Goku used this form and ultimately defeats him.

Like all other forms, Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue form transforms his facial and physical appearance. Super Saiyan Blue form changes Goku’s eyes, with his pupils becoming smaller and his irises turning bright blue. His facial features become sharper and his body appears more defined and slightly larger than that of the Super Saiyan God form.

The most notable change in his appearance is his hair which retains the Super Saiyan style, but changes to a bright blue color. His aura also boosts a vibrant, fiery, electric blue hue as compared to the blazing orange aura of the Super Saiyan God form. The aura surrounding the form also appears to be glittering with small sparkling particles of energy traveling upwards within the flames with occasions surges of electricity.

In this form, Goku’s clothing turns into a slightly darker shade of blue with some of his clothing taking on a more metallic appearance. Goku in his Super Saiyan Blue form appears to be more powerful and his blue aura radiates fiery and intense energy reflecting his immense power and abilities.

The Super Saiyan Blue form pushes Goku’s power, strength, and speed to new heights beyond those of the Super Saiyan levels and allows him to fight with a calm mind.

With this form comes the unique ability to harness godly ki, which is even more powerful than the regular ki. This godly ki allows Goku to sense and control energy at a higher level, allowing him to be reserved for ki-based attacks. This form also enhances his durability and stamina, allowing him to fight for longer periods without tiring.

The most remarkable of Goku’s abilities in the Super Saiyan Blue form is the ability to control the level of its power as demonstrated during his battle with Hit from Universe 6. Goku initially uses only a fraction of his power to avoid killing Hit, but later increases his power level in order to push the assassin to his limits. Super Saiyan Blue grants Goku the ability to use a variety of powerful energy attacks, which include the Kamehameha and the God Kamehameha.

Super Saiyan Blue form is one of the most powerful forms with unique abilities that make Goku capable of surpassing even the strongest fighters in the multiverse.

All Goku Ultra-Instinct Forms

Goku’s ultra-instinct form is considered one of the most powerful forms throughout the series. This form allows him to tap into a state of consciousness where his body moves and fights on its own without the need for conscious thought. Goku initially took on this form during the Tournament of Power in the Dragon Ball Super while he was facing off against the powerful warrior, Jiren.

During the battle, Goku was pushed to his limit and knocked down to the ground. However, he got back up, and his eyes turned silver, indicating that he had achieved a new transformation. At this point, Goku had tapped into a state of consciousness known as Ultra Instinct which allowed him to fight without the need for conscious thought. However, this transformation was not fully mastered and Goku quickly exhausted his energy and reverted to his normal state. Since then, Goku continued to tap into this power gradually gaining more control over it and eventually mastering it in his battle against Jiren.

In the ultra-instinct form, Gou’s appearance changes significantly as compared to other forms. His hair stays the same but is a little spikier. Strands loosen and silver highlights appear. He also receives a silver, purple and blue aura.

When transforming, Goku emits an explosive glowing blue aura around him and another straight transparent one that shoots upwards. Similar to Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 4 forms, Goku’s voice becomes deeper and rougher. With regard to his clothing style, Goku, in his initial stage of Ultra Instinct, has the same clothing style as in his Super Saiyan form, but as he masters and gains more control over his power, his clothing also undergoes a change.

In his Mastered Ultra-Instinct form, Goku lost his blue and gold aura and his orange gi became tarred, with his blue undershirt becoming visible. His wrist and boots and belt also changed to a reddish color.

1. Goku Autonomous Ultra Instinct Form

Ultra-Instinct form has different stages that reflect the level of mastery that Goku has achieved over the form and the extent to which he can access his full potential. The first phase of Goku’s Ultra Instinct is called Autonomous Ultra Instinct Sign, one of Goku’s strongest forms.

This form is assumed to surpass the power of the Gods and even Beerus acknowledges that Goku may be superior to him in power. Autonomous Ultra-Instinct grants Goku the ability to dodge attacks with incredible speed and grace and to move in ways that are impossible for others to predict or counter.

Unfortunately, this form has its major drawbacks as it is not fully mastered, and Goku can only maintain it for a limited time before becoming exhausted. His attacks are not stronger than they are in other forms, and he still needs to rely on his martial arts skills to deal significant damage to his opponents.

2. Goku Mastered Ultra Instinct Form

The second phase of Goku’s Ultra Instinct form is called Mastered Ultra Instinct, a form even more powerful than the Autonomous Ultra Instinct form. This form was obtained by Goku in the Tournament of Power during his final battle with Jiren. In this form, Goku has complete mastery over Ultra Instinct, allowing him to use it for extended periods without tiring.

Goku’s power level increases considerably such that he can shake the entire World of Void with a single punch. One of the remarkable abilities of the form is that Goku’s speed increases significantly, which makes him difficult to attack, and his opponents are often left struggling to keep up with his movements. With the Mastered Ultra Instinct form, Goku was able to defeat Jiren, one of the strongest fighters in the multiverse, during their final battle in the Tournament of Power.

3. Goku Perfected Ultra Instinct Form

There is another stage known as the Perfected Ultra Instinct, which is the ultimate mastery of the Ultra Instinct. This form makes Goku even more powerful and agile than in Mastered Ultra Instinct and his aura even more intense and fiery. In this form, Goku easily overwhelms the non-fully powered Jiren and is also able to fight the likes of Whis.

In both states of Ultra Instinct, Goku’s speed and reflexes are greatly enhanced and he can dodge attacks with incredible ease and speed with his movement’s fluid and graceful. While in this form, Goku’s speed and reflexes become enhanced and he is also able to deliver powerful attacks that can cause massive damage to his opponents.

The most notable ability of Goku’s ultra-instinct form is his ability to fight intuitively. In this state, his body moves and reacts on its own without the need for conscious thought. This allows him to adapt to his opponent’s moves and fighting style in real-time, making him a formidable opponent in battle.

When Does Goku Go Super Saiyan?

Goku’s transformation into the Super Saiyan form remains one of the most unforgettable and epic moments in the entire Dragon Ball Series. To transform into this form, the Saiyan must have a large number of S-Cells, which Saiyans with a gentle spirit are more likely to have, but when a Saiyan increases their battle power, they steadily gain more S-Cells.

With sufficient S-Cells, a Saiyan can transform into Super-Saiyan form when triggered by a strong feeling of anger or grief or in response to a great need, as depicted in the case of Goku.

Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan form during the battle against Frieza on the planet Namek in the Dragon Ball Z anime. During the battle, Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta and killed almost all of the Saiyans, including Goku’s childhood best friend Krillin. Witnessing his childhood friend explode before his eyes triggered immense rage in Goku and eventually resulted in his legendary transformation into a Super Saiyan for the very first time.

After his initial transformation, there are some other classic moments when Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan form. For Instance, In the Android Saga of Dragon Ball Z, Goku utilizes his Super Siyan form to fight against villainous androids created by Dr. Gero. At the beginning of his battle with Android 19, Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan form, which allowed him to gain an advantage and defeat Android 19.

In the Cell Saga, Goku initially believed that his son, Gohan, would be able to defeat Cell. Still, when Gohan was unable to finish the job, Goku stepped in and transformed into a Super Saiyan to fight Cell himself. Additionally, in the Dragon Ball Super anime, Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan form during his battle against Beerus, the God of Destruction.

Goku initially used his base form against Beerus but later transformed into a Super Saiyan form which enables him to gain an advantage and fight more evenly with his Beerus. This transformation lays the foundation for all other forms that Goku and the Saiyans were able to achieve throughout the entire Dragon Ball Series.

What Episode Does Goku Go Super Saiyan?

Goku went Super Saiyan in Episode 95 of Dragon Ball Z, titled ‘’Transformation at Last’’. This episode remains one of the most notable moments throughout the entire Dragon Ball series as it marks Goku’s first appearance in his Super Saiyan form.

In the episode, after Gohan, Krillin, Goku, and Piccolo survive the Spirit Bomb and reunite, they prepare to find Bulma and go back to Earth but are met with a surprise as Frieza survived the powerful Spirit Bomb attack launched by Goku with just a damaged tail and eye. Alive and angrier than ever, Frieza resorted to taking revenge against Goku. He fires the Death Beam straight at Goku but Piccolo takes the hit proving his true loyalty to Goku.

Goku then orders Gohan and Krillin to take the gravely injured Piccolo to a safe place and find Bulma before leaving Namek in her spaceship immediately. Gohan initially refuses to leave, stating that Goku’s solely mistaken if he thought they can escape Frieza’s wrath. In retaliation for damaging his tail, Frieza launches Krillin into the air despite Goku’s pleas, and he detonates the ‘’Ki’’ inside Krillin to blow him into pieces.

Triggered by the gruesome murder of his best friend and childhood friend who cannot be revived with the Earth Dragon Balls, Goku’s rage erupts, and he undergoes a Super Saiyan transformation causing him to gain a golden aura, golden-blonde hair and blush-green eyes.

Frieza watches in shock as Goku’s body begins to transform, becoming muscular and larger. After completing his transformation, Goku charges at Frieza, easily dodging his attacks and landing powerful blows. As the battle continues, Frieza grows increasingly frustrated and desperate. He tries to destroy the planet with a massive energy blast, but Goku counters it with a Kamehameha wave resulting in a big explosion. After the dust settles, it appears that Frieza has been defeated, but he suddenly emerges from the rubble, transforming into a monstrous new form.

What is the Strongest Goku Form?

The Mastered Ultra Instinct form is widely considered as Goku’s strongest form in the entire Dragon Ball Series. This form is the completed version of the Ultra Instinct form. The Ultra Instinct form itself is one of the strongest forms as it allows the fighter’s body to fight independently of any thoughts and emotions. However, Goku’s Mastered Ultra Instinct is his Ultra Instinct form in its most perfect, god-like state, as it eliminates the limitations of the ultra-instinct transformation.

The Mastered Ultra Instinct form exceeds the power level of the Ultra Instinct sign and amplifies Goku’s strength and speed by ten folds. It is even higher than that of the power level of the Gods of Destruction, hardening the body to withstand insurmountable amounts of damage, with each strike of offense being the equivalent of unstoppable, divine, pure energy.

After training to use Ultra-Instinct to its full potential, Goku was able to understand the power of his Ultra-Instinct form and eventually achieved his Mastered Ultra-Instinct form. He activated this form in the final moments of the Tournament of power and was able to fight evenly with Jiren, one of the strongest fighters in the multiverse.

In the mastered ultra-instinct form, Goku was able to effortlessly deflect Jiren’s attacks while simultaneously landing his blow, winning the tournament for Universe 7. Mastered Ultra-Instinct form has proved to be the strongest of Goku’s forms as it allows him to defeat powerful opponents like Granolah and Gas.

Goku’s Final Form

Goku’s final form is his True Ultra-Instinct form which was initially introduced in Chapter 85 of Dragon Ball Super Manga ‘’To Each His Own Answer’’. This form is the emotionally driven form of Ultra instinct as well as the improved version of the Ultra Instinct form.

Goku achieved the True Ultra-Instinct form by combining Ultra Instinct Sign with his Saiyan emotions which perfectly suits his fighting style. This form allows Goku to fight as he likes with less emotional attachment. It also allows him to wield his True Ultra Instinct form to greater levels than that of Perfected Ultra Instinct. In this form, Goku can use a combat style unique from those used in the other Ultra Instinct form.

During the Granoloh the Survivor Arc, Goku and Vegeta struggled to hold their own against Gas until the former learned how to wield his Ultra instinct form to a much higher level than before by assuming his Ultra-Instinct form and applying it to his Saiyan nature. His transformation to the True Ultra-Instinct form allowed him to gain the upper hand against Gas, even after Gas survived Granola’s ultimate attack.

Despite the incredible power level of this form and the fact that it allows Goku to fight more effectively, it has drawbacks that hinder it from being the strongest form. This form drains a large amount of energy and cannot be maintained for long. It is worth noting that Goku’s transformations and power levels have continued to evolve throughout the Dragon Ball Series, and there is the possibility that the True-Ultra Instinct form might not be his final form.
