Key Takeaways
- Because Treats Rewards points and free-shipping thresholds are account perks and not coupons, they layer naturally with Autoship’s recurring 5% and the in-person senior/military discount. So even though PetSmart’s coupon policy allows one promo code per order and states that coupons may not combine with other discounts, it doesn’t apply in this case.
- A percent-off code usually won’t stack on top of an already-discounted sale price.
- Autoship’s introductory discount does not combine with a separate sitewide code.
- It is worth checking at checkout every time, since stacking may change from promotion to promotion.

Reasons Your PetSmart Discount Code Might Not Be Working

- When available supplies for a particular PetSmart discount offer have been exhausted, the accompanying promo code will stop working.
- If a PetSmart discount code has expired, it will stop working.
- Where a PetSmart discount code has minimum spend or purchase requirements and a customer’s order does not comply with the requirements, the discount code will not work.
- Some PetSmart discount codes have caps on permissible purchase quantities. Where a customer’s order exceeds that quantity, the code will not work.
- Applying a PetSmart discount code to a non-qualifying product or service will also invalidate the coupon.
What to Do If a PetSmart Promo Code Doesn’t Work
- Ensure that you enter the code correctly, i.e. exactly as it appears. Then, submit the code again.
- If the discount code has minimum spend or minimum purchase requirements, ensure that your order complies with it.
- Try using the other PetSmart promo codes that are available on this page.
- Also, clear your browser cookies and caches and submit the code again.
