Tulsa King Season 2: Release Date, Cast and Episodes

Tulsa King Season 2 release date is expected in 2025 on Paramount+ after the second installment was confirmed in 2022.

Tulsa King is a crime drama series about Dwight Manfredi, a long-time mobster who is released from jail after serving 25 years for murder. Upon release, the crime family he works for sends him to the town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to establish a new frontier of their operations.

Tulsa King features Sylvester Stallone as Dwight Manfredi in what is his first leading role on TV. His swagger and charm helped to make the series a big hit, and a second season was confirmed barely days after the first premiered.

Has Tulsa King Season 2 Been Confirmed?

Tulsa King Season 2 was confirmed in November 2022, the same month that Season 1 premiered on Paramount+. This confirmation did not come as a surprise, given that the show was a hit right from day one. More than three million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere episode, and the numbers remained impressive as the show continued its run.

This made Paramount+ realize that they had a hit on their hands, and so after just three episodes of season 1 aired, they confirmed that there would definitely be a Tulsa King season 2 on 30th November 2022.

When Is Tulsa King Season 2 Coming Out?

It is believed that Tulsa King Season 2 release date will be in 2025. The reason for this is the fact that the show’s creators, as well as Paramount+, have not wasted any time in its development. The show took two years to go from the writer’s table to the screens. It is reasonable to expect that this short turnover time will continue.

There may, however, be some delay that could push the release date back. Tulsa King is one of the many TV shows that was halted by the Writers Guild Strike, which started on the 2nd of May, 2023. The issues include poor wages as well as the threat of artificial intelligence.

How Many Episodes of Tulsa King Season 2 Will There Be?

Tulsa King Season 2 will likely have about nine or more episodes. Tulsa King Season 1 had nine episodes, and the norm in Hollywood is that successful shows often get the same number of episodes or a slightly larger number of episodes during their subsequent seasons.

This could very well be the case with Tulsa King. The producers may also decide to reduce the number of episodes to eight or even less. It will all depend on their creative direction for the season and the angle that they ultimately want the show to veer into.
