However, he once played the role of a parent to his younger sister, Darline Graham Nordone. The lawyer and politician lost his parents when he was in his early twenties, and his sister was a young teenager.
Graham’s mom, Millie Graham, died of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and a year and three months later, he lost his dad, Florence James Graham, to a heart attack, and he was left alone with Darline, who was only 13 years old at the time.
The Senator took the role of a father in the life of his sister, and later in life, he adopted her as his child and he became her legal guardian for her to receive medical benefits under him. This was at the time that he joined the Air Force in 1982

Lindsey Graham Values Family Life and Having Children
