No, Lindsey Graham does not have any kids. The politician who is now 68 years old and past the age that most men would get married and have kids has never had any kids of his own, nor has he ever adopted kids.

In the same manner, he has never been married in the past and has never come close to walking down the aisle with any known woman. More so, there is nothing that is known about his love life, which has placed questions about his sexuality.

According to him, the only time he ever came close to getting married was in his late 20s when he met and fell in love with a woman named Sylvia. At the time, Graham was living in Germany, where the woman lived and worked as a flight attendant.

He stated that while he was not willing to remain in Germany, Sylvia, whose mom was an elderly woman, was not willing to move to the United States and that was how the relationship with the woman he might have married and had kids with came to an end.

Lindsey Graham Has Not Adopted Any Kids Except His Sister

Apart from not having any kids of his own, Senator Lindsey Graham has also never adopted any kids in the past. However, he once played the role of a parent to his younger sister, Darline Graham Nordone. The lawyer and politician lost his parents when he was in his early twenties, and his sister was a young teenager.

Graham’s mom, Millie Graham, died of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and a year and three months later, he lost his dad, Florence James Graham, to a heart attack, and he was left alone with Darline, who was only 13 years old at the time.

The Senator took the role of a father in the life of his sister, and later in life, he adopted her as his child and he became her legal guardian for her to receive medical benefits under him. This was at the time that he joined the Air Force in 1982

Today, Darline Graham Nordone is a family woman. She is married to Larry Nordone and together, they have two kids.

Lindsey Graham Values Family Life and Having Children

Graham has always maintained very close ties with his sister, and he has always appreciated family values. He once revealed that he believed marriage, a good family, and children are blessings. At the same time, he doesn’t think there is anything wrong with someone who is not married.

While running for the U.S. presidency, Graham stated that not being married should not be a reason why he would not be suitable because there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that bars him from contesting to be president. More so, he indicated that not being married or having kids does not make him a defective person.

Graham does believe that one can be single and still have a family which is his case. He revealed that apart from his sister, he also has his aunt and uncle who form his family. The politician revealed that he takes care of his uncle and aunt because they also took care of him when he was younger.
