No, My Dress-up Darling season 2 is not canceled. In fact, there is hardly any reason why the anime series should be canceled, as it recorded sales of more than 9.3 million copies as of May 2023.
In fact, it has already been announced since 2022 that the anime series is coming back for yet another season, but an official date has not been announced for the release. Apart from that, the source manga still has chapters, which is why no one expects the anime series to be canceled any time soon.
When Is My Dress-up Darling Season 2 Coming Out?
For now, there is still no announcement on when My Dress-up Darling Season 2 is coming out. As indicated, there has been confirmation that we are going to have a second season, but the exact release date is what is now unknown. My Dress-up Darling Volumes
As it stands, there are 11 Volumes of My Dress-Up Darling manga series, which was written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. The CloverWorks-produced anime series dropped the second episode, “Wanna Hurry Up, and Do It?” on January 16, 2022. Two more episodes were dropped in the same month, and then in February, four more episodes were released, followed by the final four in March 2022. The last and 12th episode of My Dress-up Darling Season 1, “My Dress-Up Darling,” was released on March 27, 2022.
For now, it is not clear how many episodes will be released in the second season of the series as that has not been announced. Nonetheless, CloverWorks may likely maintain the same number of episodes or take it either slightly higher or lower, which is unlikely.
