Season 1 of Shoresy debuted on the 13th of May, 2022, with two episodes. The remaining four episodes were subsequently aired weekly in batches of twos afterward. Shoresy is a spinoff of the hugely popular Canadian series, Letterkenny which started out as a YouTube series back in 2013.
Letterkenny chronicles the adventures of people in the fictional town of Letterkenny, a rural community in Ontario, Canada. The town features an assortment of odd characters, including the farmers, the out-of-towners/local ice hockey team players, the town’s closeted clergyman, the drug addicts, the First Nation reservation members/ natives, the gym goers, the local Christian groups, etc.
Shoresy is one of the hockey players and is a foul-mouthed fellow who often taunts other players with jabs about their mothers. He often does this while sitting on the toilet, and as such, his face is never shown. Given all this, many fans of Letterkenny did not know much about the character.
