Blue Lock Season 2 Release Date, When Will New Season Come Out?

Blue Lock Season 2 will most likely be released in the autumn of 2024. It was initially confirmed in March 2023, and production is now well underway.

Blue Lock tells the story of a young lad named Yoichi Isagi who joins a highly competitive and rigorous program in order to emerge as the world’s greatest egoist striker who will lead Japan to glory following embarrassment at the 2018 World Cup. Blue Lock is based on a manga of the same name penned by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (with illustrations by Yusuke Nomura) and has resonated with anime fans all over. It is also a double delight for anime fans who also happen to love football.

Is Blue Lock finished, or will there be a Blue Lock Season 2?

Blue Lock is not finished as they will be a Season 2. Season 2 of Blue Lock was confirmed in March 2023, which was the same month that Season 1 stopped airing. Season 1 covered the first 90 chapters (volumes 1-11) of the manga, while season 2 will now commerce from where it left off.

Blue Lock presently has 226 chapters and 25 volumes, meaning that there is enough material for Season 2 to cover, and there will still be remainders. The manga story is also an ongoing one, which shows that Blue Lock is not finishing anytime soon.

When Is The New Blue Lock Anime Release Date?

There is no official release date yet for the new season of Blue Lock anime. Going by past cycles, one would reasonably expect that season 2 of Blue Lock will air from October 2023 to around March 2024. However, October is nearly upon us, and there is no official release date or official trailer. This has made many conclude that the new season of Blue Lock will likely hit the screens around autumn 2024.

When Does Blue Lock Episodes Come Out?

During its original run, Blue Lock episodes came out every Sunday. That original run is now over, and fans can watch the series any time they choose. All they need do is to head over to the several platforms that have it for streaming and register. They can then view it anytime they want and not just on a particular day.

How Many Episodes Will Blue Lock Season 2 Have?

Blue Lock Season 2 will likely have 24 episodes, the same as Season 1. It may also have a higher or a lower number of episodes. It all depends on the vision of the producer for the new season. If they want to cover a whole lot more of the manga source material, they will have to go for a longer number of episodes.

Fans can watch Blue Lock on Crunchyroll. The platform has both the original version and the English dub, meaning that the issue of language barrier is solved.
