Blue Lock tells the story of a young lad named Yoichi Isagi who joins a highly competitive and rigorous program in order to emerge as the world’s greatest egoist striker who will lead Japan to glory following embarrassment at the 2018 World Cup. Blue Lock is based on a manga of the same name penned by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (with illustrations by Yusuke Nomura) and has resonated with anime fans all over.
