Is Boruto Stronger Than Naruto?

Boruto is not stronger than Naruto. His father is heads and shoulders above him as far as the issue of strength is concerned. But enough with the comparisons, both father and son are a force that can’t be ignored.

Naruto v. Boruto

Naruto is stronger than Boruto, his son. However, when you move away from just their strength and look at things like perception, dexterity, and intelligence, you will see that Boruto scores higher than his dad or they are at the same level.

The only exception is negotiation. For Boruto, it is 90 while his dad is nearly double at 170. Something to have in mind is this. Naruto is a grown adult while Boruto is still growing. So, if the growing boy is nearly at the same level with his dad, it is very possible that he will pass him someday.

A Breakdown of Naruto’s Strength

Naruto is so strong and has gotten the better of many tough foes over the years. When it comes to his physical strength, it did not just happen overnight. He had to train for many years to get to the level that he reached. As they say, nothing good comes easy.

Let’s now turn to the supernatural; Naruto also has some spiritual powers (for instance, he has access to the chakra of all the Tailed Beasts). He can make numerous clones of himself to join him when fighting.

He heals quickly from injuries and not just that, he can even help members of the army from his village to also heal quickly so that their enemies don’t defeat them.

There are also different modes that Naruto can enter into and his strength and speed will magnify (If he could run 10 miles per hour, it will now become 30 miles an hour). Some of those modes are Baryon mode, Sage mode, and Nine Tails Chakra Mode.

Naruto can also transfer his chakra or energy to those fighting alongside him. This helps them heal faster (something we have talked about above). Also, it magnifies their abilities.

Another thing to note, Naruto has a good head on his shoulders. With this, he went from just fighting physically for his people to becoming their leader.

Now, Let’s Unpack The Strength of Boruto

Though he is a young fella, Boruto is quite strong. Just like his dad, he has both physical and spiritual abilities. His brain is also sharp.

With things like the Karma seal, Boruto can increase his strength. With the Jogan Dojutsu, he can see what the ordinary eye cannot see including potential threats. Boruto can also manipulate the chakra of anybody fighting him and the person’s internal organs will be wounded.

Boruto also can use elements of nature like wind, lightning, and water to fight.

Naruto Vs Boruto Strength

Category Naruto Uzumaki Boruto Uzumaki

Ninjutsu Mastery of Rasengan, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and numerous high-level techniques. Innovative with Rasengan (e.g., Compression and Vanishing Rasengan), but lacks mastery over many techniques.
Genjutsu Resistance High due to Kurama’s presence and strong willpower. Developing; benefits from Karma’s enhancements to resist some Genjutsu effects.
Special Powers Kurama’s chakra, Sage of Six Paths powers, and Sage Mode. Karma Seal grants immense power, speed, and access to Momoshiki’s abilities.
Battle Experience Extensive experience from countless battles, including the Fourth Great Ninja War. Limited experience but gaining rapidly through challenging opponents and missions.
Tactical Intelligence Sharp and seasoned strategist in combat. Quick thinker with potential, but often relies on impulsiveness or support from allies.
Signature Techniques Rasengan, Rasenshuriken, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Tailed Beast Bomb, Sage Art: Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken. Vanishing Rasengan, Karma-enhanced Rasengan, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and Boruto Stream.
Overall Power Level Near god-like, especially during his peak with Kurama and Sage powers. Promising but far from Naruto’s peak; Karma boosts his power significantly in short bursts.

Naruto’s Strength Without Kurama

Without Kurama, Naruto is not as powerful as he once was but he is still very strong and has many skills at his disposal.

But let’s back up a bit. When Naruto fused with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Kurama, he could do so many new things, and the abilities he already had became enhanced. Sadly, when he and Isshiki fought, he lost Kurama. This was a great blow but the loss was not a complete one. He still had access to Sage Mode, Baryon Mode, and Tailed Beast Chakra. He also still had skills that were not tied to Kurama and went on to develop new ones as well.

The Strongest Naruto’s Ever Been

Naruto is at his strongest form when he is in the Baryon Mode. How did this mode come about? When Naruto’s chakra was joined together with Kurama’s chakra. We already talked about Naruto being so powerful with Kurama and so, it is not surprising that Kurama is tied to his strongest form.

The Baryon mode boosted Naruto’s strength and abilities to levels not seen before. But this boost did not come without some strings attached. Using Baryon Mode can kill the person using it but luckily for Naruto, he didn’t die.

The Strongest Form of Boruto

Boruto is in his strongest form when he wields power from the Karma seal. We have talked about that seal above. It can increase the power of Boruto. He can also use it to open the door to other realms.

Now, let’s keep one thing in mind. Boruto is a young chap; still growing and still developing. So, it is possible that we have not seen him at his strongest despite all the awesome things he has done already.
