KonoSuba Season 2 Ending Explained
The final three episodes of KonoSuba Season 2 has Aqua, Kazuma, and their pals in a town known as Alcanretia. Alcanretia is a deeply religious town with cultist tendencies. The town hosts the Axis Church founded by Aqua and the town’s inhabitants immediately revere her.
Kazuma is unimpressed by the ongoing; however, when the town turns against Aqua, he comes to her rescue. They find out that the town’s source of water and livelihood is being poisoned by Hans, one of the Devil King’s army leaders, and concoct a plan to stop him. At the end of Season 2 of KonoSuba, Aqua is able to kill off Hans with Kazuma’s help, and they then depart from Alcanretia and head back to their main town, Axel.

KonoSuba is a Japanese anime based on a series of light novels written by Natsume Akatsuki. The full title is actually KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! It tells the story of a young lad, Kazuma Satou, who dies after rescuing a young girl from what he thought was an oncoming truck. In his deceased state, Kazuma’s options are heaven or reincarnation.
A beautiful goddess named Aqua, however, offers him the option of traveling to a fantasy land which is akin to a role-playing game where he can go on various adventures. Kazuma is allowed to take only one thing from his present life, and so he decides to take Aqua. In their new world, they join forces with magician Megumin and crusading swordswoman, Darkness. They also have to confront a formidable foe named Devil King.

How Many Seasons of KonoSuba Will There Be?
KonoSuba may possibly have as many as eight seasons. This is based on a breakdown of the light novel series upon which the anime is based. The novel series has a total of 17 volumes which chronicles the adventures of Kazuma and Aqua from the very beginning right to the end, an ultimate battle with the Devil King. Each of the volumes has between 4 to 5 chapters.
Season 1 of KonoSuba, which had 10 episodes, captured the first two volumes, while Season 2 focused on the third and fourth volumes. Going by this pattern, it, therefore, means that KonoSuba may have as many as eight seasons. Of course, the producers could decide to increase the number of episodes per season, thus reducing the number of seasons that would have to be produced. One thing that is for sure is that the upcoming season 3 of KonoSuba won’t be the final season.
How Many Episodes of KonoSuba Will There Be?
KonoSuba currently has 20 episodes for the first two seasons, and we may likely get as many as 60 episodes extra. This means that there may possibly be as many as 80 episodes of KonoSuba or perhaps less. However, 80 episodes will cover the entire saga.
