Who Is Zeno from Dragon Ball and What Is His True Form?

Zeno, also known as Grand Zeno, Omni-King, King of All, and the Lord of Everything, is the co-supreme ruler of the entire Dragon Ball multiverse and the most powerful of all in existence. He is the major supporting character in the 2015/2018 Japanese martial arts fantasy anime television series, Dragon Ball Super, and its manga series, having made his initial appearance in Dragon Ball Super during the Universe 6 vs 7 tournament arc.

He is presented as one of the most powerful characters in the animation series with immense power, capable of effortlessly erasing entire universes and effortlessly taking down the strongest fighters in the animation series. This great power makes Zeno a highly feared ruler amongst every divine being, including the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, and the Supreme Kais.

But behind his tremendous power, Zeno is depicted as a short and chubby being with a childlike personality and a dangerous dichotomy that many people are curious to understand but must face their doom before they ever really understand him. His appearance has been consistent throughout the series, and there has been no indication that he has any other appearance, but it is quite possible that his true form and abilities have not been fully explored in the Dragon series anime.

How Old is Zeno?

Zeno is presented as a very powerful and ageless being, ruling over all the universes in the Dragon Ball multiverse. Although his exact age is unknown, it has been suggested that he existed since the beginning of time. While Zeno’s history and age remain unknown, the Grand Priest gave a hint about the longevity of Zeno at the commencement of the Tournament of Power when he revealed that the tournament begins on the “3,135,500,603rd day of the Era of Our King”.

This will imply that Zeno has ruled as the Omni-King for approximately 8.6 million years. However, it remains unclear if he started his existence as Omni-King or lived a certain period before being appointed to the position.

In Dragon Ball Super “Future” Trunks Saga, Zeno is shown to be a small childlike being who is curious and easily amused. He was not presented as having knowledge or experience outside of his role as the ruler of the multiverse. As the series progresses, he becomes more involved in the events of the Dragon Ball Universe, and his power and knowledge are shown to be far beyond that of any other character in the animation series.

Throughout the series, there is no indication that Zeno’s age has changed as he is consistently shown as an eternal and all-powerful being existing outside of time and unaffected by the passage of years. This is portrayed through his childlike innocence and excitement, which he displays throughout the series as an eternal being who is beyond the concepts of time, age, and most importantly, mortality.

How Strong is Zeno?

Although Zeno is portrayed as a childlike and innocent character, often seen playing games and having fun, he is by far the strongest being in the Dragon Ball Multiverse. With an affinity for fun and a tendency to get bored easily, Zeno surprises the viewers with his unmatched strength and his unparalleled god-level powers that make him unbeatable.

Zeno has no real combat skills. He is a personification of incredibly raw power which makes up for his lack of combat knowledge. He possesses the power of erasure, which makes him one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse. He has the power to erase anything from existence with a mere wave of his hand. With this power, Zeno can destroy entire universes or timelines, and he can also selectively erase objects or people.

According to Whis, Zeno had erased 6 of the then existing 18 universes. During the “Future” Trunks Saga, Zeno erased an entire universe without a second thought because it has become corrupted by the evil Zamasu. He also used his erasure ability to destroy Zamasu from existence even though Zamasu had merged with the multiverse itself.

Zeno’s power of erasure is demonstrative of how strong he is and the extent of his abilities.
Omni-King, Zeno has the ability to teleport himself to any location in the multiverse. He can also create portals between dimensions allowing him to move through space and time with ease. In the “Future” Trunks Saga, when Goku and Vegeta used the time machine to travel to an alternate future timeline to fight the evil Zamasu, Zeno, who was watching the events from his palace, decided to teleport himself to the future timeline to watch the battle unfold in person.

After the fight ended and Zamasu was defeated, Zeno once again used his teleportation powers to return to his palace in his timeline.

Zeno possesses the power of “King’s Aura,” which is a form of energy that affects the minds and bodies of those around him, and it causes beings to feel immense pressure or even be rendered unconscious. He uses this energy to intimidate and exert authority over others, and this energy is so powerful that it also affects the gods of destruction.

In the “Tournament of Power” arc, Zeno held a tournament between eight universes to determine the strongest universe, with the losers facing erasure from existence. Before the tournament began, Zeno used the King’s Aura to intimidate the participants and remind them of his authority over the multiverse. It had quite a strong effect on the participants, causing them to tremble in fear and bow down to Zeno.

At the end of the “Tournament of Power” arc, Zeno, who became bored with the fights, threatened to end the tournament early, and he used his King’s Aura to communicate his displeasure to the participants and the other gods of the multiverse.

Zeno the Omni-King has knowledge of everything that happens in the multiverse, including events that occur in different timelines and dimensions. This power gives him insights into the motivations and intentions of others, allowing him to make better decisions and act with greater knowledge and understanding. He displayed his omniscient power during the tournament when he used it to sense that Jiren had a tragic past that caused him to become a powerful fighter.

Throughout the tournament of Power, Zeno was able to keep track of everything that was happening even in the farthest corners of the fighting arena. At a point when a group of fighters from Universe 7 decided to join hands to defeat Jiren, a powerful fighter from universe 11, Zeno was able to sense their intentions and was aware of their plan despite the fact that the fighters were trying to keep the plan a secret.

He possesses the ability to manipulate reality, which allows him to alter the laws of physics and the fabric of the universe. He can also create and destroy objects and matter at will. However, Zeno rarely uses this power as it is capable of causing significant destruction.

He demonstrated his ability to alter reality on a grand scale at the end of the tournament in the “Universe Survival arc” when Zeno became bored and decided to erase all the universes who lost the tournament. He was, however, asked to spare the universes and hold a new tournament. In an effort to ensure that the new tournament was fair, Zeno used his reality manipulation power to create the “Tournament of Power” arena, which was designed to prevent fighters from hiding and running away.

Zeno’s strength and abilities are so great that even the gods of destruction, who are considered the strongest being in their respective universes, revere and fear him. His mere presence and authority are enough to make other gods tremble with fear and bow before him.

Zeno, the “King of all,” is undoubtedly one of the strongest characters in the animation series with his power of erasure, teleportation skills, King’s Aura, Omniscience, and reality manipulation ability. He remains a formidable opponent, and his authority over all the gods in the multiverse makes him the ultimate ruler of all.

What is Zeno’s True Form?

Zeno is presented as a very short, childlike being with a large lemon-shaped head, round eyes, small rounded grey ‘’ears’’ and a friendly demeanor which gives him an innocent and harmless appearance. He has sky-blue skin except for the purple stripes that cover two sections from his ears to the middle of each eye on both sides of his head. He usually wears a blank expression on his face and has no nose present. Zeno the ‘’King of all’’ is usually adorned in a pink vest with two ‘’omni’’ kanjis in front and a yellow lined coat with yellow pants and magenta pink shoes.

Despite his small size and friendly demeanor, he possesses incredible powers and abilities that cause the gods of the universe to tremble in fear and bow before him. This appearance of Zeno seems to be his true form as it remains consistent throughout the series. However, there are some fan theories about Zeno’s true form, but none have been confirmed.

Fans have speculated that Zeno’s true form might be more powerful and intimidating than his childlike appearance. In contrast, others are of the opinion that Zeno may have the ability to transform into a more menacing form when he is angry. Despite these theories flying around, the Dragon Ball Super series has not shown the viewers any changes in Zeno’s appearance and form.

The only indication that Zeno may have a different or alternate form was revealed in the Dragon Ball Super Manga where Zeno is shown to have two identical copies, one from each timeline known as ‘’Future Zeno’’ and ‘’Present Zeno.’’

In chapter 28 of the Dragon Ball Super Manga and episode 81 of the Dragon Ball animation series, the Grand Priest, one of Zeno’s attendants, revealed that Zeno’s true form is formless and exists beyond the physical realm. This form mentioned by the Grand Priest was not explored in the series and was only mentioned briefly. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that Zeno’s current childlike appearance is his true form in the series.

Zeno’s Full Power

Zeno’s full power is portrayed as being nearly boundless, exceeding the imagination of all in the Dragon Ball Series. His full power has a significant effect on the Dragon Ball multiverse, from causing destruction to altering the fate of the multiverse and causing chaos on an unprecedented scale.

With his childlike naivety that makes him somewhat unpredictable and capricious, he is capable of effortlessly destroying entire planets, galaxies, universes, and timelines in the blink of an eye, having destroyed 6 of the originally existing 18 universes and also destroying several planets in a game he played with his future self-202 times. During the Tournament of power, he and future Zeno erased Universe 9 from existence.

His power was so immense that he could effortlessly erase even the strongest beings in the Dragon Ball Universe, including gods of destruction, angels, and even Grand Zeno, his alternate-timeline counterpart.

In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Zeno used his power of erasure to erase an entire timeline after he witnessed Future Zamasu and Goku Black’s destruction of the Future Trunks timeline. Zeno and Future Zeno are the only characters in the animation with the ability to erase timelines, thus making them the most powerful and feared characters in the Dragon Ball Super.

Zeno’s power is not limited to physical destruction alone, it can also alter the fate of the multiverse. Zeno ‘’King of all’’ has the power to decide the fate of the multiverse, which would, in turn, have a significant impact on the balance of power in the multiverse as well as the number of living beings. With the King’s Aura, Zeno has the potential to instill fear and respect in the characters in the anime series, including the gods of destruction, and even the Infinite Zamasus is shown to be terrified of Zeno like all other deities.

Zeno’s full power is nearly limitless, he can destroy an entire universe, erase anything from existence as well as create new universes and gods. His power is so immense that he is considered the most powerful being in the Dragon Ball Multiverse.

Who Can Beat Zeno?

Zeno is depicted as the most powerful being in the multiverse, and his powers and abilities remain unequaled among the characters in the animation series. It is, therefore, unlikely that any character in the animation series can defeat him, but there may be certain characters in the series who could potentially challenge Zeno. They are the Grand Priest, the Future Zen oh, and Whis.

The Grand Priest

While the Dragon Ball Super Series gave no power comparison between Zeno and the Grand Priest, the Grand Priest, like Zeno, is also known for his incredible powers and abilities in the multiverse. The Grand Priest (the father of all angels, the advisor to Zeno, and the other Omni king) is said to be one of the top 5 strongest warriors in the entire multiverse.

He is presented as one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse. Like Zeno, he has the power to manipulate time, space, and reality, and he is shown to have a vast level of strength. He was easily able to stop punches using only his fingers. In the Tournament of Power arc, the Grand Priest is shown to possess the ability to eradicate beings from existence. This suggests that the Grand Priest is a worthy opponent to Zeno if at all he cannot defeat him.

The Future Zen-oh

The Future Zen-oh is shown to have the same level of power and authority as the current Zen-oh, making him one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse. Both Zeno and Future Zen-oh possess the ability to erase universes and can manipulate space and time. They are also capable of teleporting easily to any location in the multiverse and can also sense the power levels of other beings.

While the series depicted both Zeno and Future Zen-oh as having the same level of power, there are some significant differences in their personalities. Future Zen-oh is shown as being more impulsive and unpredictable, often acting on whims and destroying entire universes without warning.

His unpredictable nature makes him more intimidating than the current Zeno. Despite being on the same level in terms of power, the impulsive nature of Future Zen-oh makes him more dangerous, and he may be capable of defeating the current Zeno in a battle.

Whis

Whis, the angelic mentor of Berrus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, is another character who possesses incredible strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate time. With the help of his Ultra Instinct, he can sense danger and can avoid nearly all the damage. He is suggested to be stronger than his respective God of Destruction and may be able to hold his own against Zeno.

Furthermore, it was revealed in the Dragon Ball Super Manga that the fusion of Goku from Universe 7 and Goku from Universe 10 would be strong enough to challenge Zeno as this version of Goku would have the power of both universes, making him very powerful.

While all these characters are undoubtedly powerful enough to pose a challenge to Zeno, it is very unlikely that they would be able to defeat him in a fight as Zeno’s powers are largely undefined and mysterious. It exceeds human comparison.

Is Zeno the Strongest Anime Character?

Zeno, also known as “King of all,” is considered the strongest character in the Dragon Ball animation series. As the king of all universes, he possesses unequaled and unrivaled power and authority in the multiverse. Though he is not shown to possess any combat skills and abilities, his immense power to eliminate any threat with a single thought rather than engaging in a physical fight makes up for his lack of combat skills and fighting techniques.

Throughout the animation series, Zeno demonstrates his immense power and authority by wiping out several characters and universes with just a mere thought. Although some Dragon Ball characters have caused destruction and claimed countless lives, Zeno operates on a whole new level. He erased all of reality when he stopped Zamasu in the future timeline.

In the Dragon Ball Super, Zeno erased Universe 9, Universe 10, Universe 2, Universe 6, and Universe 4 for losing in the tournament of power. Similarly, characters like; Bergamo, Lavender, Basil, Hyssop, Oregano, Sorrel, Chappil, Comfrey, Roselle, and several others were erased for losing the tournament.

Despite the fact that Zeno’s power is nearly limitless, he is not invincible and can therefore be susceptible to attacks from other beings. This is seen during the ‘’Universe Survival Saga’’ in the Dragon Ball Super anime, when a group of assassins known as the ‘’Pride Troopers’’ from Universe 11 is shown planning to assassinate Zeno in order to prevent the destruction of their universe by Zeno. This shows that even though Zeno appears to be the most powerful being he is not invincible.

Outside of the Dragon Ball Series, Zeno is still one of the strongest anime characters. However, it is quite difficult to declare him as the strongest of all, as there exist many other anime characters with immense power in various other series.

Some of the characters include; Saitama from One Punch Man, who possesses infinite strength and can take down opponents with just one punch. The Anti-Spiral, the main antagonist of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann anime series, is a godlike being with the power to manipulate time and space.

Madoka Kaname (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is a magical girl with the ability to rewrite the laws of the universe. Reinhard Von Lohengramm (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) is a strategic genius with immense physical strength and durability. Truth from the Fullmetal Alchemist anime series is the manifestation of the universe itself and so cannot be erased and defeated.

The strength of these anime characters varies depending on the series, and comparing them can be quite tasking due to the differences in power systems and abilities. In the Dragon Ball anime series, Zeno is undoubtedly the strongest, and he remains one of the strongest anime characters in the history of animation.
