Who Does Sasuke Marry and End Up With?

Fans from all over the globe have had something to say about Sasuke and Sakura ending up together. Some view it as unhealthy, arguing that Sakura’s love was never reciprocated by Sasuke, while others see the relationship that blossomed into marriage as inspiring. But no matter what part of the divide you may be, what everyone can agree on is that it is one of the subject matters that have made the series captivating.

Who Is Sasuke’s Wife, Sakura Haruno?

Sakura Haruno is a main character in Naruto whose story intertwines with that of Sasuke Uchiha. She is introduced as part of Team 7, alongside Sasuke and Naruto. Her character was initially made to appear as meek and insecure but this will later change as the story progresses and she becomes a more strong and capable ninja, one that is respected by her peers.

Sakura was also known to have had a crush on Sasuke from the beginning. The romantic feelings she had for him were there for everybody to see from the get-go, but Sasuke was a complicated fellow who was battling his demons. So while her love for him grew, it was not reciprocated as expected. Regardless, the two would later get married and have a child.

Sakura is happy with having to look after her kids alone since her husband is never around as a result of his duties as a ninja. While this can be frustrating, it is undeniable that their love for each other endures through all the confusion.

Why Did Sasuke Marry Sakura?

While specific reasons as to why Sasuke would marry Sakura are not really addressed, a number of things could have encouraged such a decision, most notably Sasuke’s desire to rebuild his clan.

Sasuke was the last of the Uchiha clan and deep down knows that he carries the responsibility of continuing the family bloodline. Sakura makes a great candidate to have his children since she is a great ninja. Her talent and genes would make her the ideal mother for Sasuke’s children.

Another probable reason that might have compelled Sasuke to marry Sakura is the nature of their relationship. Though complicated at times, there is no doubt that they care about one another. Past trauma and personal demons have closed Sasuke up to forming close relationships, but he has always had a soft spot for Sakura.

Does Sasuke Love Sakura Haruno?

There is defineltely some love between Sasuke and Sakura. The only debatable part of it is whether it is one-sided and the extent of love that exists. The dynamic between the two make them one of the most talked-about people in the Naruto series.

Sakura has times without number professed her feelings for Sasuke while he is more concentrated on fighting. He has never expressed his love for her directly and often appears to be cold towards her in order not to show his vulnerabilities.

He first treats her like just any other person but she later earns his respect and love. From being cold and standoffish, he starts showing concern for Sakura’s well-being. Sasuke would later learn to face his feelings and he finally confesses his love for Sakura. He apologizes to her for all the pain he has caused and for what he has done.

Sasuke and Sakura’s marriage has produced a child. Many who have questioned the love between Sasuke and Sakura gave them the benefit of the doubt after they had their daughter Sarada Uchiha. 

Sarada made her first appearance in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The show is set several years after the events of the original Naruto series. Like her parents, Sarada is a skilled ninja. She inherited many of their abilities; her mother’s intelligence and her father’s combat skills.
