Who Is Sasuke’s Daughter Sarada and Is She Sakura’s Daughter?

Sarada Uchiha is a skilled kunoichi from the Uchiha Clan and the only child of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha. When Sakura was pregnant, she traveled with Sasuke and gave birth to Sarada with the assistance of Karin in one of Orochimaru’s hideouts. As a result, there is no record of her birth at Konoha Hospital.

Due to her father’s absence during her upbringing, Sarada initially struggles with her identity and purpose. However, with the help of Naruto Uzumaki, she realizes that her connections with others define who she is. As a member of Team 7, she aims to become Hokage one day.

Sarada is a highly talented kunoichi who has inherited her parents’ exceptional abilities. With her father’s prodigious talent and her mother’s sharp intellect, she is regarded as an elite genin by Mitsuki. Her Uchiha lineage has also contributed to her ranking third in her class and easily defeating numerous Shin clones before even graduating.

Who Is Sarada’s Real Mom?

Sarada’s real mom is Sakura Haruno. At the start of the series, Sarada’s parentage caused some speculation among fans. While it was apparent that she was Sasuke’s daughter, there were some questions about whether Sakura was also her mother. Sarada herself even expressed doubts about her heritage, particularly after discovering a photo of Karin.

This confusion was further compounded by an error with a DNA sample conducted by Suigetsu, which led some fans to believe that Karin was Sarada’s biological mother.

Karin’s healing ability allowed her to transfer Sasuke’s DNA to Sakura during her pregnancy, which led to confusion about Sarada’s parentage. However, it was eventually clarified that Sakura is indeed Sarada’s real mother. Sakura is shown to be a supportive and loving mother to Sarada, and she encourages her daughter to pursue her dreams and become a powerful ninja.

Sarada is a Highly-Skilled Shinobi

Sasuke’s daughter Sarada is depicted as a strong and capable young ninja who possesses a mix of both feminine and masculine traits. Sarada Uchiha was created by Masashi Kishimoto to be a character who initially did not conform to traditional feminine stereotypes.

While creating Sarada, Kishimoto felt pressured due to his seeming inexperience in drawing female characters. He was also concerned with how the primarily male fanbase would respond to a female lead character. To develop Sarada’s personality, Kishimoto read several books about women’s traits and chose to give these characteristics to another character appearing in the spin-off, Chocho Akimichi, instead.

Kishimoto wanted to develop the bond between Sarada and her mother, Sakura Uchiha, and to end the Naruto spin-off with a focus on Sarada’s family. He chose to portray Sarada as a female version of her father, Sasuke Uchiha. He also incorporated elements from Sakura into Sarada’s characterization and had both female characters wear similar clothing.

Initially, Sarada’s hairstyle was planned to be long and swept, but Kishimoto decided to change it as he felt that it would not suit her appearance as a ninja and altered it accordingly. He also felt that glasses would make the character look more appealing and decided to make her eyes resemble Sasuke’s, with her glasses hiding this resemblance.

While designing Sarada’s ninja outfit, Kishimoto drew inspiration from one of Sakura’s outfits from the first part of Naruto. However, he chose to modify it by covering Sarada’s arms. Overall, Kishimoto aimed to create a unique and compelling character in Sarada, one who defies traditional gender roles and stereotypes in anime and manga.

Does Sarada Become Hokage?

No, Sarada doesn’t become Hokage. Sarada has always dreamed of becoming the Hokage of Konohagakure and following in Naruto’s footsteps. Although she comes from a family of legendary shinobi, Sasuke’s daughter Sarada idolizes Naruto Uzumaki and believes that he embodies all the qualities that a ninja should possess.

With the support of Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha, it is likely that Sarada may eventually achieve her goal of becoming Hokage, however, she is yet to become one in the ongoing series.
