At first, in his usual cold persona, Toji refused to say any final words. Still, in his very last dying moments, he thought of his son and his ex-wife and proceeded to inform Satoru that, in a few years, Megumi would be sold into the Zenin Family. After endangering his son during one of his violent outbursts, Toji opted to return to death by taking his own life in chapter 113 of the manga to save his son.
