Is Naruto Stronger than Sasuke?

Yes, Naruto is stronger than Sasuke. Although the two are the strongest ninjas not just in their village but also in all five nations, fans have always been curious about who would win a fight between them.

While Sasuke is naturally powerful, he has always been scared of Naruto and his seemingly endless potential. And a series of fights between them adds more substance to this fear because Naruto almost always emerges the victor.

What Episode Does Sasuke Fight Naruto?

The most iconic of the battles between them was The Final Battle which was recorded through episodes 476-478. Naruto Uzumaki had disputes with Sasuke Uchiha, which led to several fights in several episodes of the series. As the two most iconic characters of the Naruto series, it is no surprise that the plot of this anime series revolved mostly around them.

Even though they were teammates during their training days in the academy, their distinct personalities made it impossible for them to get along throughout the original and second Naruto series. And this inevitably led to an outbreak of several battles between them.

Naruto vs. Sasuke Final Battle

The Final Battle was the 476th episode of the Naruto Shippuden series when the toss of power between them was finally put to the test. However, although this intense and emotional fight between the two shinobis started in this episode, it ran on through the next two episodes and was finally concluded in episode 478.

The epic battle started in the Valley of the End, where Sasuke reveals his intentions of becoming a villain and the most hated person in the universe. He claimed that he would do this alone and that with his Sharingan and Rinnegan, he could easily resurrect and attain immortality if need be.

The fight sets off soon after this when Sasuke uses all the tailed beast’s chakra to try and defeat Naruto. However, Naruto survives this with the aid of his Jutsu and weakens Sasuke in the process. With his Rinnegan skills, Sasuke absorbs Naruto’s Chakra and becomes more powerful once again. However, Naruto counters this with the help of the tailed beasts and their late friend’s powers.

The Two Ninjas Almost Died in Their Final Battle

Several moves into the fight, the two ninjas have each lost an arm and are now on the brink of death, and they are launched into a series of nightmares. Sasuke has flashbacks of his childhood and later moves into Naruto’s dreams, where he realizes that Naruto had not just wanted to become a Hokage for the glory of it but also to serve those around him. This is contrary to his selfish reasons for getting into the academy.

Sasuke admits to Naruto that he has been mistaken all along and that if he dies, he would release the infinite Tsukuyomi by transplanting his left eye into Kakashi or another person. However, Naruto would not hear of this and insists that Sasuke would love to help him make the Shinobis cooperate. Sasuke reluctantly agrees to this but still maintains that there is no guarantee that he won’t stand against Naruto later on. In the end, the two ninjas form an unlikely friendship, and they both live together.
